With the continuous increasing share of small pixel LED display in the market, more and more LED display become popular in TV studios,however, the performance effect of the LED displays in TV set screen is very different in reality.Some has colorful,clear and stable images,while some others have obvious water ripples or flickering. In order to avoid the above mentioned problems, we should pay attention to the following items when we choosing the LED display for a TV studio, and and when we using an LED display in a TV studio.

 

  • Shooting distance should be suitable.

As we know, the LED displays with different pixel pitch, different filling factor, suitable shooting distance is not the same. Take the 3 mm pixel pitch LED display with filling factor of 60% for example, distance between the background LED display and compere(or other people or stuff) should be 3m or more, then you can get a relatively good background. If the compere is too close to the background LED display, the background LED display will appear grainy,and also water ripples.

 

  • The smaller pixel pitch the better.

Pixel pitch is the distance between every two neighboring pixels in an LED display. The smaller of the pixel pitch, the more pixels on per unit area, the higher resolution you get, the closer shooting distance.Of course, its price is also more expensive. In the United States, currently,the pixel pitch of LED displays used in TV studios is mostly 4-10mm.So we should carefully study the resolution of sources signal and the pixel pitch of back ground LED display.And try our best to make the two as the same,then lead to dot to dot showing.
